Your information, in plain words.

This page says what the studio collects, why, and what happens to it. It is short because the honest answer is short.

Who is responsible

Divine Inner Health Ltd, registered in England, company 17334770. Registered office: 5 North View, Preston, North Shields NE29 9LS. The studio is at Unit 1, 42-47 Fish Quay, North Shields NE30 1JA.

The enquiry form

When you send an enquiry we receive your name, your email address, your phone number if you give one, and your message. The system also records the country your connection came from and the kind of browser you used, which helps keep the form working and filter abuse.

We use this to reply to you and for nothing else. The lawful basis is taking steps you have asked for before entering into an agreement, and our legitimate interest in answering the people who write to us. Please keep your message general: health matters belong in a conversation, not a contact form. Anything you do choose to share is treated as confidential.

Enquiry records delete themselves after 90 days. The email copy of your enquiry is kept only as long as it takes to deal with it properly.

Marketing emails

The enquiry form carries an optional tick box, unticked by default, asking whether you would like occasional emails about classes, the journal and what is on at the studio. Monthly at most. Leaving it unticked does not affect your enquiry: you will get a reply either way, and you will not be added to anything.

If you do tick it, we record that you ticked it, when, and the exact wording you agreed to, so we can show what was actually asked. You can stop at any time by replying to any email or using the unsubscribe link in it. We will act on that without asking why.

Where it is processed

The website runs on Cloudflare, which hosts the site, stores enquiry records and delivers the notification email. The site is built and operated for the studio by CDF Design. Both act only on the studio's instructions. When online booking opens it will be handled by Momence, who will be responsible for the information you give them under their own privacy policy.

Cookies

Nothing that is not strictly necessary is set until you choose. When you first arrive you are asked, and until you answer, no cookie is set and nothing is loaded from anyone else. Ignoring the question counts as no.

Strictly necessary. One entry in your browser's local storage remembering the choice you made here, so you are not asked on every page. It holds nothing but that choice and never leaves your browser. This is the only thing that is on by default, and it is the only thing you cannot turn off, because without it there is nothing to remember.

Map. The studio map is a Google map. If you turn it on, Google receives your IP address and browser details and sets its own cookies, in the same way it would if you opened Google Maps yourself. The address is written out beside the map whether you turn it on or not, and the directions link opens Google in a new tab only when you press it.

Analytics. If you turn it on, Google Analytics records which pages are read and which are not, with your IP address shortened before it is stored. It is never used to identify you, and the data is never sold or shared for advertising. It is off until you turn it on, and turning it off again stops it immediately.

You can change any of this at any time using Cookie choices in the footer of every page. Turning something off takes effect immediately. Declining everything leaves the whole site working: nothing here is behind a cookie.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, or object to us holding it at all. Write to the studio or use the enquiry form and we will sort it. If you are unhappy with how the studio has handled your information you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
